Red Carpet Rundown: Fashion Is Front & Center At The 2025 BET Awards – See Looks We Love

Source: Getty / Getty The 2025 BET Awards – aka Culture's Biggest Night – went down tonight, June 9, and as expected the red carpet the absolute most (in the best way). Before any awards were handed out, the fashion set the tone – and it was everything. The BET Awards Kick Off In Black Tie Fashion This year marks a major shift for the ceremony: the BET Awards rolled out an official Black Tie theme for the first time ever. Yes, you read that right – Culture's Biggest Night has a dress code. With Harlem's Fashion Row tapped to help shape the night's visual identity, guests took the cue and showed out with glamorous gowns, sharp suiting, and editorial-level drama from head to toe. Hosted by Kevin Hart , tonight's show promises unforgettable moments, a nostalgic 106 & Park reunion, and a stacked lineup of performances from Teyana Taylor, Lil Wayne, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas. Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 10 nominations, while Doechii, Drake, GloRilla, and Future came through with six. In true BET tradition, the show makes space to honor icons. Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg, and Kirk Franklin are all Ultimate Icon recipients. BET Awards Red Carpet Fashion: Keke Palmer Sparkles Big Boss Keke Palmer stepped into the spotlight with a smile and a little black dress that did anything but play it safe. The sheer bodice was dotted with sparkles, and the dress flared out with a surprise tulle train for that perfect drama-meets-dazzle moment. Keke is giving grown woman sophistication and we are here for it. BET Awards Red Carpet Fashion: Doechii In Miu Miu Doechii came through with a '90s-it-girl remix that felt so fresh. The Grammy-winner rocked a bold red two-piece Miu Miu set featuring a bandeau-style top and asymmetrical skirt with gold trim. Her midriff was on full display, and she brought the drama with chunky hoop earrings, stacks on stacks of wooden and amber-toned bangles, and a statement grommet belt that oozed vintage. Source: Getty / Getty Her braids were long and sleek, styled with laid baby hairs and a side part for extra attitude. Bronze-glow makeup, glossy lips, and tinted sunnies sealed the look. BET Awards Red Carpet Fashion: Ciara Reps For The 'A' Ciara gave us high-low perfection in a Black Cong Tri fit that blended streetwear with full-on glam. She wore a black leather button-up with rolled sleeves tucked into a feathered mini skirt with a dramatic, trailing fringe. Source: MICHAEL TRAN / Getty She topped her mini skirt and top with an Atlanta 'A ' fitted, repping her roots with style. Her jet-black bob was bone-straight with layered flips, and the layered diamond necklaces added just the right amount of sparkle. With strappy stilettos, soft glam, and that signature confidence—this look was Black tie, but all CiCi. Red Carpet Rundown: Top Celebrity Looks From The 2025 BET Awards And that's just the beginning. Missing BTS Suga? Reliving his D-DAY tour fashion from ripped jeans, oversized tees, to rockstar vibes

BTS' Suga made a signature look for himself during the D-Day tour, which included ripped jeans, tailored jackets and long hair. When BTS' Suga said in 2023 that he'd see us in 2025, he meant every word. As the wait stretches on, ARMY misses the rapper and his signature smile, finding joy in every rare sighting, which could just be in the form of a restaurant autograph. So, while we count down the days until he's back spitting fire on stage, let's take a look back at the fashion moments from his D-DAY tour that made just as many waves as his electrifying performances. Long hair, tailored jacket, a look that fans won't forget Long hair, don't care—that seemed to be Suga's unspoken motto during the tour. Dressed in jackets, ripped jeans and loose shirts, this became his trademark look. As a global ambassador for Valentino since early 2023, Suga had prominently featured the brand's designs in his tour wardrobe. Notably, during performances, he donned custom Valentino suits crafted by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. These ensembles included double-breasted tailored jackets adorned with the iconic Valentino studs and the Valen Tie from the Fall/Winter 2023-24 "Black Tie" collection. The jackets were personalised with "D-DAY" printed on the front. A standout ensemble featured a custom-designed white outfit by the brand. This look included a reversible nylon bomber jacket, shimmering with tonal sequins, paired with denim trousers and a white t-shirt. ARMY won't quite forget the rapper, dressed in white, walking across the stage, signaling the crowds to sing louder. Suga doesn't just wear fashion, he owns it. His style isn't about playing it safe; it's about fusing classiness with high-end sophistication. Ripped jeans? Not just a phase, more like a signature. He gravitates toward premium denim from brands like Fear of God, bringing that raw, rebellious energy to the stage. The distressed details and relaxed fits contrast sharply, in the best way possible, with his tailored Valentino pieces, proving that luxury and streetwear don't just coexist, they thrive together in Suga's world. As one fan aptly describes on Twitter, that baggy look just added more fire to his performance. 'He looks like a rockstar that you don't want to mess with: The kid that sits in the back bench.' His style isn't just about the clothes. It's about the finishing touches that make his outfits unmistakably his. Accessories aren't extras, they're essential to his aesthetic. Take his earlier Chanel Gabrielle bag—a piece that adds a subtle flex to his fit, blending luxury with that 'I-just-threw-this-on' energy. It's practical, it's stylish, and it screams understated opulence. Then there's his love for headwear. Slouchy beanie that gives him an off-duty musician vibe? Sleek cap that sharpens his silhouette? Bring it on. Chokers, why not? Suga knows how to top off a look, literally. These pieces aren't just about style. hey bring an air of mystery and nonchalance, a nod to his persona both on and off stage. He plays with textures, colours, and fits, proving that sometimes, the smallest details make the loudest impact. Then there's his love for headwear.
