Social media reacts to sentencing of trio found guilty of child trafficking in Joshlin Smith case
Sentences were passed down on the accused in the much-followed case of missing girl, Joshlin Smith. While many praised the judge, quite a few thought that the sentences, although the maximum, were too lenient.

@ClaudetteGGibs1 I have been following Joslin's story since the beginning. Today, her mother, the mother's boyfriend, and one other person have been sentenced to life in imprisonment for human trafficking and 10 years for kidnapping. They still have not found her body. May Joslin RIP.

@masthibo There are no mitigating factors in the Joshlin Smith case. The girl is still missing and presumed dead while Smith, van Rhyn and Appollis still don't want to come clean even after conviction.
