Multiple people injured in overnight rollover crash in Chula Vista
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Multiple people were injured after a vehicle they were in struck a concrete pillar and flipped several times in Chula Vista early Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 12:15 a.m. in the area of 900 Marina Parkway, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.

Police responded to the scene after receiving several calls and discovered a black BMW 335i with significant damage.
The car was headed eastbound on Marina Parkway before it left the road and hit a concrete pillar, leading it to flip several times, according to police. Images below show emergency personnel and damage to the vehicle at the scene of the crash.
Two women and two men were inside the vehicle at the time. The two women, who were seated in the front and back passenger seats, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the two men — the driver and other backseat passenger — were sent to local trauma centers with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The driver, identified as Blake Todd, 21, was arrested for felony DUI with injury prior to being sent to the hospital, police added.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined. Chula Vista police stated that alcohol is believed to be a factor.
The Chula Vista Police Traffic Bureau is currently investigating. Anyone with more information about the collision is asked to contact the bureau at 619-476-5302.
