British ambassador inaugurates The Hope English School in Sharjah, marking a new era in British education
The Hope English School, a premier British curriculum institution, celebrated its official inauguration with a prestigious ceremony graced by Edward Hobart, the British Ambassador to the UAE. This landmark event marked a significant step in the school's mission to elevate British education standards in Sharjah with its modern, future-focused campus.
Under the esteemed leadership of North Point Education (NPE), The Hope English School is the vision of CEO Sandra Blaskovic, who has passionately spearheaded its establishment. Alongside NPE chairman Lanson Lazar, Blaskovic warmly welcomed distinguished guests, emphasising the school's dedication to providing an exceptional learning experience.
The ceremony was attended by the school's senior management team, principal Dr Sabrina Barnette, and NPE Principals, making it a momentous occasion for the entire school community. Key highlights included the unveiling of a commemorative marble plaque and the symbolic planting of a sapling — both powerful representations of the school's growth and commitment to shaping the future.
Hobart expressed his delight in meeting the founding students and their parents, acknowledging the school's potential to make a lasting impact in Sharjah over the next decade.
Currently offering the Cambridge Curriculum from FS1 to Year 6, The Hope English School is poised for expansion, with plans to introduce secondary education in the upcoming academic year.
