Blenheim Palace announces new festival to replace summer concert series
Blenheim Palace has announced the hugely popular Nocturne Live concerts will be replaced by a new festival at the country estate.
The palace in Woodstock ended its contract with Nocturne Live, a concert series which attracted the likes of Elton John and Gary Barlow to its stage, after its 10th anniversary concert last weekend.
Attendees were disappointed at the news that Nocturne Live would no longer be held in the iconic palace setting, but may be relieved by the latest move.

However, organisers said at the time they intend to remain in Oxfordshire, saying "there is still so much music we can't wait to bring to Oxfordshire...".
The organisers also shared their thanks to the Woodstock palace for hosting "10 years of glorious shows".
This year's Nocturne Live included The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, The Corrs, Nile Rogers & Chic as well as Gary Barlow.
Over the years the series has also presented shows from a host of huge international stars including the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Nile Rodgers, Lauryn Hill, Noel Gallagher, Gregory Porter, Van Morrison, Tears for Fears, Gladys Knight, Elvis Costello, Simple Minds and Ennio Morricone among many others.
Blenheim Palace hosts a range of events including the Blenheim Palace Flower Show which returns from Friday to Sunday this week.
