The Rookie: 4-1/2 Shocking Twists — Including an Iconic #Chenford Scene — From Season 7's Wiiildest Episode

The following contains spoilers from the Feb. 26 episode/'midseason finale' of ABC's (but calm down, the show is back in just two weeks). Things were so insane on The Rookie this Tuesday night that even an all-too-eerie, #TooSoon Los Angeles wildfire nearly played second fiddle. More from TVLine Grey's Anatomy Enlists Lena Waithe for Multi-Episode Arc - What's Her Connection to Catherine? The wildfire made for much mayhem, breaking out just as Nyla, Lucy and Celia spotted Liam Glasser on a hiking trail the serial killer is known to favor. As homes got evacuated, Liam (with his wife, son and baby) was among those led to James' community center, manned by a few officers of Mid-Wilshire Division. There, a scuffle arose between James and a hot-headed gang member who was harassing Kylie, one of his community center pals. Liam used the distraction to slip out the back. After being stonewalled by Liam's Stepford Wife, Nolan surreptitiously asked the son if he knew of a second car his dad might use. The kid was caught lying about a 'brown van,' having been told by his dad to say that if the police ever asked. Now realizing the extent of her husband's duplicity, the wife decided to help Nolan & Co. out. Tracking Liam down at a maze of a house, Nolan fell through a weak floor, as Miles watched. Nolan wound up slugging it out with Liam, but found himself bested again and again. Liam grabbed a nearby scythe and was going in for the kill, when Nyla and Angela showed up to save the day, cuff Liam and haul him away. After nearly 22 months, we finally got a name for Angela and Wes' daughter — Emmy. Lucy and Tim were out in a cruiser when they found themselves on a hillside road blocked by the fire — at which instant a flaming tree fell down behind them. With help a good 30 minutes out and Gray struggling to coordinate a water drop, Tim and Lucy huddled in the middle of the road beneath a foil fire blanket. Uncertain of their fate as soon-to-be-baked potatoes, Tim went to tell Lucy something, and the iconic exchange went something like this: 'Lucy, I want to tell you something—''No, no.''Why, you got somewhere you need to be?''You're going to say something heartfelt because you think we're going to die, and I don't want to cry right now.''I might say something hateful, you don't know.''Yes, I do. I know what you're going to say. You're still in love with me.''Wow, the arrogance!''Am I wrong…?''No. OK, you're not wrong. Of course I still love you. Do you?''It doesn't matter!''So it's a yes.''You're infuriating!' Once they were rescued and brought to the hospital for smoke inhalation and what not, Lucy spoke of how the near-death experience clarifies one's priorities. She said that, career-wise, she was thinking about taking the Sergeant Exam in a few months. Tim supported her plan and noted that, as an added bonus, she would then no longer be in his chain of command. 'That's a good point,' Lucy nodded, before accepting his offer to be a study buddy. With Mid-Wilshire shorthanded by the wildfire crisis, Sgt. Gray apparently had no one even a smidgen better to put in charge of liaising with FEMA, NWS and LAFD but… Seth. Seth, the truth-challenged boot who never writes things down. But Gray cracked the whip, and Seth manned the phones, ably, while scribbling notes (and occasionally hanging up on the deputy mayor). When Gray got word of Tim and Lucy being trapped, Liam at first kept mum, then quietly raced back to his notes and saw that he had gotten word from the NWS that that road had been ruled unsafe; he promptly tore out that notepad page and stiffed it in his trousers. At episode's end, Seth visited Tim and Lucy in the hospital and lied that the NWS failed to flag that road. An irked Tim said he'd chew someone over there out, but Seth insisted he's already given the NWS a firm talking-to. Tim, though, seemed not convinced. With the wildfire quelled, Liam caught, and the evacuation center clearing out, James was standing outside with Kylie as she started to come clean about Connor, the hot-head from earlier. Kylie knows things about a shooting at a night club, involving Connor's gang. She is afraid to go to the police, but James assured her she will be protected. Just then, Connor drove by and fired bullet after bullet into both James and Kylie. Will James survive? And if not, will he die with Nolan thinking that he was stepping out on Nyla, after Nolan saw Kylie plant an (overly) appreciative kiss on him earlier? The Traitors Recap: The Hooded Villains Face a Major Decision — Plus, Who Was Murdered… In Person?

When we last visited the castle, Alan Cumming left a ginormous cliffhanger in our laps. The Traitors were about to murder their next victim in person! But not everyone was vulnerable to be flicked off the chess board — only Gabby, Tom, Dylan, Chrishell and Dolores were up for grabs. So who didn't make it back to the castle for bagels and lox? Let's recap. All is revealed at breakfast as the surviving faithful show face to game and gossip. When we flash back to the night before, we see Danielle and Carolyn hand-deliver a waxed letter to… Chrishell, telling the Selling Sunset star that she was 'too faithful,' and therefore would never have been banished. Sad, but true. Shatter her picture frame, Alan. Next! More from TVLine Paradise Recap: What Cal Knew, and When He Knew It - Plus: The Tablet Thief Revealed! The Voice Recap: Was Night 2 of the Blinds More of a 'Wow' or a 'Whatevs'? The Way Home's Evan Williams on Elliot's 'Powder-Keg Situation' With Emma and What He'd Say to Thomas As a result of this week's task that includes creepy dolls, lullabies and the debut of Tom Sandoval's singing career, the group earns $20,000 for the prize pot. The shield? That was won by Ciara. But she'll have to survive the night's roundtable in order to take advantage of its sweet, sweet protection. While Ivar and Danielle chat about potentially banishing Ciara, Carolyn has another thought in mind. If Britney is banished, Danielle will be forced to be more loyal to her. (Or so she thinks!) Dylan also has Brit on the mind, citing Derrick's accusation against Britney at his last roundtable. Ciara, however, can't seem to live down the coffin theory. That's exactly who Britney is gunning for and exactly who she pitches to Danielle. ROUNDTABLE | Alan gathers the group for their next elimination, where Ciara is first to speak up to defend herself against that ol' coffin biz. Not quite helping her case is the fact that many of the faithful feel that there must be at least one female traitor, if not two. Britney states that the only two strays she caught last round were from Ciara and Rob, another reason why Ciara might be a traitor. Ciara switches her focus. When Jeremy was killed, the last person's name in his mouth was Danielle. Danielle counters by reminding everyone that she voted for Rob not once, but twice. In addition, she never would've killed Bob H. and Derrick. (Hah!) But faithful members like Ivar and Sam can't seem to let the coffin thing go. Frankly, it dominates the discussion, but will it dominate the votes? Alan puts the kibosh on the conversation and when those mini chalkboards flip around, Ciara votes for Britney, but everyone else throws daggers Ciara's way and she is banished from the game. In the turret, Danielle and Carolyn get a tempting offer from Alan. They can murder a faithful as usual or — you guessed it! — try to seduce a faithful to the dark side. Of course, if they opt to recruit, they forfeit their ability to murder this round. Danielle wants to recruit, but Carolyn wants to murder. They know they have to give the faithful a female traitor to slaughter. Dolores is clearly not an option, which is seemingly the only thing these two can actually agree on. So it all comes down to Gabby or Britney. But Carolyn is far too afraid to let Danielle's 'bestie' inside the turret. (Can you blame her?) Their decision… will be revealed next week. Is Carolyn right not to trust Danielle? Will this decision tear these two apart once again? Let your thoughts be known in the comments! The Hunting Party: Melissa Roxburgh Talks Bex's Reaction to Episode 2's Good/Bad Odell Reveals

The following contains spoilers from Episode 2 of NBC's . NBC's Hunting Party aka the 'Inmate Recovery Task Force' this Monday night resumed its search for The Pit's escaped killers. Along the way, Agent Bex Henderson (played by Manifest's Melissa Roxburgh) learned a little something about former partner/Pit warden Oliver Odell (Revenge's Nick Wechsler). More from TVLine The Voice Recap: Was Night 2 of the Blinds More of a 'Wow' or a 'Whatevs'? SNL50 Guest List: Find Out Which OG Not Ready for Primetime Players Are Set to Appear in Anniversary Special The Way Home's Evan Williams on Elliot's 'Powder-Keg Situation' With Emma and What He'd Say to Thomas Years ago, Odell of course infamously set fire to a man who'd abducted a young girl, after torturing him for information. Bex was horrified by the act, and she and Odell have been estranged ever since — until he showed up in a hospital bed at the close of the NBC series' premiere, to warn Bex that the 'accidental' explosion that collapsed The Pit in fact was an orchestrated jailbreak. Bex didn't seem to do much with that bombshell this week. Instead, she was a bit fixated on determining if Eli Johnson — her high school friend Naomi's father, whom a teenage Bex used her nascent profiling skills to put behind bars for a string or local murders — was in The Pit when it went boom. Odell did his best to assure Bex that Johnson hadn't been sent to the Pit, and then for good measure toward episode's end arranged for a one-on-one between Bex and Eli (Desperate Housewives' Mark Moses). During their tense chat, Johnson alluded to the fact that Bex lied to the cops back in the day, telling them that she uncovered the damning evidence against him by herself, when in fact she nudged friend Naomi to rummage around her dad's garage. That truth could have waylaid for Bex any future bid for a federal law enforcement job, had it come to light. But it never did, thanks to young G-man Odell, who saw Bex's potential (as a teenager??) and thus kept her fib under wraps. Bex was clearly moved to learn of what Odell did, and said as much when regrouping with him after her chat with Johnson. She started to walk back her reaction to his immolation of that kidnapper, but Odell stopped her, saying it was the right call at the time. Speaking with TVLine about what Bex will do with her realization that Odell took a risk for her, Roxburgh said, 'It's part of the road to forgiveness. He did a bad thing [with the kidnapper], but seeing that he did protect her in all of those moments where he could have told everyone the truth kind of gives him some 'bonus points.'' Odell had better store those bonus points in a safe place, because Bex is about to learning something not so great about her ex-partner. For as seen in this week's closing moments, CIA agent Jacob Hassani (The Flash's Patrick Sabongui) has learned that The Pit's warden knew the explosion was coming. In fact, 10 minutes ahead of the blast, Odell breached the prison computer system's firewall to download 1,000 terabytes of encrypted information. Previewing Bex's eventual reaction to this newly uncovered instance of sus behavior, Roxburgh told TVLine that she and Odell will 'have a 'convo'' about it, 'and there are answers around that. 'We learn that he has an alliance' with a mystery woman played by Kari Matchett (The Night Agent), she continued, 'and that he's trying to figure out some answers [for himself].'Best of TVLine Yellowjackets' Tawny Cypress Talks Episode 4's Tai/Van Reunion: 'We're All Worried About Taissa' Vampire Diaries Turns 10: How Real-Life Plot Twists Shaped Everything From the Love Triangle to the Final Death Vampire Diaries' Biggest Twists Revisited (and Explained)
