Hong Kong or Singapore? Blackpink's mainland fans tackle tough ticket questions
Mainland Chinese visitors are expected to flock to Hong Kong in January next year for two concerts by K-pop superstars Blackpink , with fans trying to work out how to get their hands on tickets, the cheapest way to watch the shows and whether tour stops such as Singapore may be a better bet to see the girl group. The group's agency, YG Entertainment, this week revealed that Blackpink's 'Deadline' world tour would end at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium , following stops in South Korea, Taiwan, Bangkok, the Philippines, Singapore and Tokyo. The four-member group – comprising Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose – will also be performing in Europe and North America over the summer, with the news sending Blinks – a term used to describe the group's most devoted fans – into a frenzy. Tickets for Blackpink's two shows at Kai Tak Sports Park's main stadium are priced from HK$699 (US$90), while the most expensive VIP package costs HK$3,499, as local promoter Live Nation revealed the seat map for their stage on Friday. Ticket sales will start on June 10 in an official fan club presale, followed by a Visa credit card presale and booking platform presale. General sales will begin on June 13 at 11am through the ticketing platform Cityline.

Blackpink fans in Malaysia lament tour snub, turn ire on government censorship
Heartbroken Malaysian fans of Blackpink have blamed their government's censorious streak for the K-pop supergroup omitting to stop in Kuala Lumpur on their highly-anticipated world tour. Advertisement On Tuesday, the chart-topping and YouTube record-breaking quartet comprising Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose, announced their first world tour since 2023 with shows scheduled across North America, Europe and Asia from July this year through to January 2026. The news threw Blinks – a term used to describe the group's most devoted fans – into a frenzy of ticket-buying for the first reunion of the band since they took time out to pursue solo projects. Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore and Bulacan in the Philippines will be part of their Southeast Asia swing, but Malaysia was excluded from the line-up. 'I really think it is because our country is being difficult. Our authorities seem to always make it hard for international acts to come here,' said cosmetics salesperson Bobo, 30, who goes by one name. The Blink has followed the group since they debuted in 2016. Advertisement For Beverly Lim, 25, the omission of Malaysia means she has to put on hold her dream of seeing her idols in the flesh.

#SHOWBIZ: Blinks disappointed, Blackpink skips Malaysia for its world tour
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Blinks were left disappointed when their favourite K-pop supergroup, BlackPink, omitted Malaysia from their 'Deadline World Tour'. Although the tour, which kicks off at Goyang Stadium in Seoul, was announced last month, the complete list of global venues was only revealed today on the band's official Instagram account. While Malaysia was excluded, 15 other locations, including the United States, England, France, and the Philippines, were listed. After two nights in their home country, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé will head to Los Angeles before concluding the tour in Hong Kong next January. The Bangkok concert will span three nights, while Jakarta, Singapore, and Bulacan (in the Philippines) will each host two-night performances. "And Malaysia, none at all," lamented fans in the comment section of the announcement post. Some even urged BlackPink's record company, YG Entertainment, to consider adding Malaysia to the tour itinerary. "Why is Malaysia not listed when there are so many fans in Malaysia?" one fan wrote. "Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand get concerts for more than a day but Malaysia doesn't," another commented. "YG Entertainment, please take note, we fans in Malaysia want it too," read another plea. Today, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster on Instagram listing the tour concert locations for the group comprising Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé.

Blackpink names upcoming world tour ‘Deadline', with 18-show stadium run across Asia, North America and Europe (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 — Blackpink's upcoming world tour now has a name — Deadline — as the group prepares to reunite for their first stadium run in three years. Yesterday, the group posted a 30-second teaser on YG Family's official X account, showing block letters spelling out 'Deadline' rising from a pool of pink glitter. Dramatic music plays in the background before the clip ends with the full tour name reveal. The 18-show run will reunite the group's four members after they spent the past year focusing on solo projects. Jennie released Ruby, Lisa launched Alter Ego, Rosé debuted Rosie, and Jisoo unveiled Amortage. 'By next year, I think I would just keep releasing music and get together with the girls. I can't wait to share with the girls what I've been doing,' Lisa told Rolling Stone in its Musicians on Musicians issue last year. Blackpink announced the tour in February, marking their first world tour since Born Pink in 2022. The tour will begin in Seoul before continuing with four North American shows in Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and New York in mid-July. The group will also perform at Tokyo Dome in Japan in mid-January 2026. It is unclear if Blackpink will release new music before the tour. Speaking to Variety in May after launching her collaboration with Bose, Lisa said, 'We're all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can't wait to see them.' Blinks are the official name for Blackpink's fanbase.
