The quite literally explosive visuals feature the chart-topping artist transitioning into a state of euphoria, set against a dramatic desert backdrop that adds drama to the scene. This time, the 23-year-old artist is showing her vulnerable demeanour and emotions are taking centre stage. 'Bliss' is a tender, emotional love song that feels both grounding and uplifting. Tyla's angelic vocals bring intimacy and vulnerability to life. The music video is the final result of a lot of hype that had fans waiting for the song. The road to 'Bliss' The excitement around 'Bliss' began long before the music video dropped. Tyla first teased the song during her electrifying Coachella performance in April. She later partnered with 'Erewhon', a brand often associated with high-end, organic, and health conscious products, to create a limited-edition 'Bliss' smoothie, which supported 18twenty8, an organisation empowering young South African women through education and personal development. The smoothie, blending tropical flavors like coconut, mango, and pineapple, was a hit with fans and a clever way to promote her upcoming single. The South African singer, 23, released the song "Bliss" and its music video Monday, marking her first single of 2025. "For the drama, for the plot... 'Bliss' music video out now," she wrote on Instagram in a post promoting the track. The video opens with the Grammy-winning music artist standing in an apparent desert, with an explosion in the background. Tyla also climbs a rope into the clouds. "You take me to bliss," she sings. "Never felt a love like this." Tyla recently joined Thai singer and Blackpink member Lisa for the song "When I'm With You" and the music video to accompany it. She released her album Tyla+ in October. She will also host the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards June 21.

The "Water" hitmaker shared a sneak peek of her new song on Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse into the music she is creating. In the short clip, captioned 'Blurry ah video', Tyla can be seen playing with her hair and jamming to a sound. One thing for certain is that the beat is infectious and has the potential to be another hit from the artist. The excitement in the comment section was palpable as her fans, who are affectionately known as "Tygers" are buzzing about the possibility of a new hit. But when a friend calls out her name and hands her a bottle of Coca-Cola, everything changes. As she takes a sip, the boxes magically fly away, and she is transported to a state of bliss. That is when Tyla's hit single 'Bliss' kicks in and the scene shifts to two friends cruising down the highway in a convertible, singing along to the song. Another day, another slay from music's mononymous divas, LISA and Tyla. The White Lotus star and 'Bliss' hitmaker teamed up for a steamy song, 'When I'm With You.' Luckily for Blinks and Tygers, the girlies blessed us with a music video that's equally as hot just in time for the summer. Of course, the singers did not come to play in the fashion department. They were dripping in crystallized outfits, mini skirts, and strappy heels galore. As a matter of fact, let me pin these looks to my summer mood board real quick. If the 'baddest back to back' provided by LISA and Tyla wasn't enough, they brought even more star power to the track with cameos from a few celeb friends. Mason Gooding showed up sans a shirt with his inked skin on full display as LISA danced on him. A moment of silence as I catch my breath: Oh, and to keep the good vibes going, LISA and Tyla tapped two of the biggest stars of last summer for the video, too. Love Island USA's Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi exited the villa for a poolside date night. 'When I'm With You' comes off LISA's debut solo album, Alter Ego, but the musicians go way back. During a Musicians on Musicians interview for Rolling Stone in October 2024, they truly couldn't stop gushing when they shared their first impressions of each other. 'I remember the first day I knew about you was from the 'Water' challenge,' LISA told the Grammy winner at the time. 'You, dancing onstage, pouring water, and I was like, 'Oh, my God, who is she?' And I started to follow your stuff more and more.' Tyla also praised the 'Rockstar' singer, saying, 'Girl, in Blackpink, you were my favorite. You brought some edge to the group, which was so cool. Your rapping and just the way you moved and the way you dressed was so cool. Me and my best friend would watch those videos all the time.' Now, they're maximizing their joint slay in the music video for their too hot to handle summer collab, 'When I'm With You.'
