June Resident: Lucille Croft
We're getting hot & heavy in the Blood Rave with our brand-new Resident, US-based Aussie artist Lucille Croft! Los Angeles-via-Naarm/Melbourne-based Lucille Croft is a producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ, and creative director, and she's here to dominate the deck all month long. She's taken over stages at the likes of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, HARD Summer, and ULTRA, so we guarantee you're in good hands for the next four weeks. Loading Lucille's known for blurring the line between industrial grit, dark techno and cinematic intensity in her productions, and she's collabed with some huge names including What So Not, Tommy Trash and Grabbitz in the past. Her catalogue is full of hard-hitting dark techno and raw energy, from her debut EP Patient X, to 2023's The Valentine Effect. Valentine's Day 2025: Dinners and events in the Rochester area

(WROC) — Valentine's Day is coming up, and couples are making plans to go out and celebrate a day of love. Whether you have a partner or not, there are many events in the Rochester area to celebrate Valentine's Day. The classic 1987 rom-com Moonstruck will be screened at a brunch event at the George Eastman Museum. During the brunch, attendees have the chance to win prizes through a raffle and tour the Dutch Connection floral display. Tickets to the event can be found on the museum's website. Water Street Music Hall will be holding a 'Blood Rave' the day before Valentine's Day. Guests 18 years or older will only be allowed to attend this event, which features techno music. The rave starts at 8 p.m. The Strathallan Hotel has many plans for the week of Valentine's Day. On February 13, the Century Club is hosting a Galentine's Paint & Sip Celebration across from the hotel. It will be High Tea style and will offer finger sandwiches, coffee, and tea as you paint. On Valentine's Day, a three-course dinner will be offered, followed by an a la carte dinner on the 15th. This one is for the kids — the Strong National Museum of Play has a special activity for guests! Kids will be able to make a Valentine's Day card for their love ones, learn how to make origami, and design a headband. This activity will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Why not find a fuzzy Valentine from Rochester Animal Services? The organization is encouraging residents to visit their animals to consider for adoption. This event will be from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Brown Hound Downtown is holding a dinner, with a choice of one course per person, along with live music from Steve West. The dinner is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling (585)-506-9725. This event isn't just for couples — Tavos Antojitos Y Tequila is inviting everyone to celebrate Valentine's Day! The event will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are still available by clicking here. Couples will be able to visit the Italian American Community Center for a night of dinner and dancing. Doors to the event will open at 5:30 p.m., with appetizers being served until 6:30 p.m. The buffet will be open from, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The entire event will end at 10 p.m. Reservations can be made by emailing the community center at office@ or by calling (585)-594-8882. Moondance, a Frank Sinatra tribute band, will play a night of music, dancing, and dinner at ARTISANWorks on Valentine's Day. Hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dessert will be served by Madeline's Catering and the dancing will follow afterward. Doors to the event open at 6 p.m. and the event will last until 11:30 p.m. A five-course meal will be served at Root Catering & Kin Event Space for 'Community Love Week' — all for a good cause. The proceeds made from this event will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester, Foodlink, the Willow Domestic Violence Center, and other organizations. It will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Photo City Music Hall will be holding a special 'Vampires & Valentine's Day' emo rave on the night of Valentine's Day. The theme for the rave is the 'Twilight' franchise. Organizers say guests should prepare for an evening 'of dark romance and electrifying beats.' The rave begins at 8 p.m. This is only for people 18 years or older. Tickets can be purchased here. Iron Smoke Distillery is hosting a Valentine's Day Special show — featuring a Beatles tribute band!
