Celebrity Reactions To The Trump-Vance-Zelensky Fight Are Going Viral
President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's heated exchange in the Oval Office on Feb. 28 is being discussed everywhere. In a meeting intended for the U.S. and a Ukraine minerals agreement, Trump told Zelensky, "You don't have the cards right now," referencing the country's ongoing war with Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Vance accused Zelensky of not thanking the American people for their support. "Have you said thank you once?" he asked. "Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country." Trump told Zelensky, "You're gambling with [the] lives of millions of people, you're gambling with World War III, and what you're doing is very disrespectful to this country," along with remarks criticizing the Biden Administration and supplying support and funds to Ukraine. After the exchange, Trump canceled a planned press conference with Zelensky and ended the negotiations. Many celebrities and world leaders supported Ukraine and President Zelensky in the aftermath and criticized Trump and Vance's accusations. Actor Michael Caine's comments went viral when he posted, "Trump calm down" from his X account. Michael followed the tweet only minutes later with another, writing, "Calm down." Actor Alyssa Milano shared a video of a news broadcast fact-checking Trump and Vance's claims against Zelensky. Alyssa wrote in a caption alongside the video, "I don't even know what to say.
