Officials say firefighters were already aware of the reptiles inside and worked quickly to get the flames under control.
'Through prior knowledge of the building, we knew that this warehouse housed several snakes, tortoises and lizards,' said Major Bo Woodard with OKCFD. 'And was able to make an offensive fire attack and get the fire extinguished that way.'
It is unclear how the fire started or if any of the animals were injured.
