The Game of Thrones, A Minecraft Movie and Aquaman actor revealed he wants to try out Edinburgh's nightlife scene and maybe even pick up his own kilt. The 45-year-old announced his intention to hit the capital's clubs as part of a potential trip to Scotland. Momoa, who has previously launched a vodka brand, is considering branching out into single malt whisky, reports the Record. Speaking to the Sunday Mail, Momoa, – who is the entrepreneur behind the Meili Vodka brand – said: 'I kind of feel like I need to visit Scotland and sample a few of their finest single malts. 'Purely for business interests only of course. 'I would really like to go to Scotland. 'I have spent a lot of time in London and I love the pub scene, and I hear in Scotland the pubs are just as good. 'I would love to go and experience them in an historical city like Edinburgh.' The actor, who has previously been photographed wearing a kilt, added: 'On kilts, well when you think of the kilt, it is up there with the most iconic national clothing there is. 'It doesn't matter where you are from in the world – everybody knows a kilt. It's obviously been made even more iconic due to some serious warrior performances in movies so I would love to own one.' Momoa said he was surprised to hear of an abandoned snake, named Jason MaBoa, which was found near Glasgow last year. Named in the actor's honour, the young 3ft Boa Constrictor was later described as 'handsome and muscular' by staff at the Scottish SPCA Edinburgh Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre which took him in. The Hawaiian-born Fast and the Furious star added: 'I didn't hear about that story but I love that name. 'Who thought of that, it is pure genius. 'I do hope the snake found a new home.' Momoa launched his Vodka brand with friend and business partner Blaine Halvorson. The pair claim they spent nine years developing Meili, distilled with water from an ancient aquifer in Montana.

'Unwanted hitchhiker' found in grocery store's banana shipment 'a first' for conservation agency
A slithery surprise discovered in a banana shipment sent a scare through a southern New Hampshire grocery store. A conservation officer with the state New Hampshire Fish and Game Department responded Saturday to a report of an "unwanted hitchhiker" at the Market Basket in Manchester, according to WMUR and a statement posted to Facebook. Hawaii Store Employees Discover 2-Foot Snake In Christmas Tree Shipping Container The slithering stowaway was determined to be an ornate cat-eyed snake, a mildly venomous reptile native to Ecuador, which is one of the largest exporters of bananas to the U.S. Conservation officer Griffin McKeown told WMUR that in responding to the incident, he spoke with an employee who "seemed to be pretty familiar with snakes." The call was "a first" for McKeown, he continued. "We've had a few calls about pet surrenders of ball pythons and stuff like that, but never, never [a] venomous snake." After it was determined the snake was unharmed, it was re-homed to northern Massachusetts-based Rainforest Reptile Shows Inc. for proper care.
