Craven County Board of Education Spring Art Show highlights student's talent
CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — Craven County Schools is hosting their annual Board of Education Spring Art Show Tuesday night, to show off the talents of their students.
The community is invited to view original artwork made by students from 23different schools in the county. The show starts at 5pm on April 8, and ends an hour later at 6pm. It will take place at the Board of Education Administration Building in New Bern.
'Our students' artwork brings life to the halls of our administrative building and reflects the vibrant creativity nurtured throughout our schools,' said Acting Superintendent Mrs. Michelle Lee. 'This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the arts and the role they play in developing well-rounded learners.'
Art pieces will be displayed until the Fall Art Show and community members are able to see them outside the art show during the business hours of 8am-5pm.
