An open letter to Bob Kesling, the Voice of the Vols
Dear Mr. Kesling,
I am writing to thank you for everything you have done for fans of the Big Orange everywhere and to congratulate you on your retirement.
I am a lifelong Vol raised in Knoxville by two UT graduates. I am a 2016 graduate of the UT College of Communications and a 2019 graduate of the UT College of Law, where I met my wonderful fianceé, Addison. After graduation in 2019, I moved to Nashville to be with her, and I am beyond happy to say that we'll be married later this month.
Moving away from my lifelong home had its challenges and hardships, but hearing a familiar voice call games for my favorite football and basketball teams went a long way.
So as a beautiful new chapter begins for me, I just wanted to tell you that I will always fondly remember the chapter where Saturdays were narrated by Bob Kesling. I wish you and your family the best in all that you do.
