Child tests positive for HIV after being sexually battered by Clearwater man: PCSO
CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A Clearwater man has been arrested following a nearly year-long investigation into allegations that he sexually battered an 8-year-old boy. Bobby McAffee, 62, was taken into custody on May 30 after the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said he ultimately admitted to having sexual contact with the victim. Deputies said the victim reported the sexual battery to them on Aug. 23, 2024. Detectives learned McAffee pinned the boy down on the ground, held both his arms above his head, and assaulted him, according to the sheriff's office.
