The friends and family of the late Presley Chweneyagae have reeled and tried to make sense of his passing.
Every other speaker at his memorial service held at the South African State Theatre echoes this sentiment.

'He was very humble. He never looked down on anyone. From the most glamorous events to the dingiest corners, he would make everyone feel seen and heard,' says his friend, Boemo Dikhutswe
'I'm proud to have called him my friend, proud to have shared louder tears, longs, and countless moons, with a man who bring men to himself, no matter how far he rose.'
Lightening the mood a bit, The River director, Krijay Govender reminisces on how Presley used to steal the show and still be able to make his co-stars shine.

JP Potgieter, head of productions at Quizzical pictures which produced iNumber Number, one of Presley's acclaimed productions took to stage to also speak about how the first iNumber Number film was low-budget but the Oscar-award-winning actor never took the opportunity for granted.
