Austin Area HSSA: See Hope Edwards hit half-court buzzer beater to win playoff game
An incredible half-court shot at the buzzer advanced the Cedar Park (Texas) girls basketball team into the next round of the playoff this week.
In 2023-24, Hope Edwards was an Austin Area High School Sports Awards girls basketball player of the year nominee.
Against Boerne High in the first round of the playoffs on Tuesday, she was the hero.

With the game tied at 40 and 1.39 seconds left on the clock, Edwards inbounded the ball to a teammate, who tapped it back to Edwards.
She let it fly from half court and hit nothing but net to give her team a 43-40 win.
Cedar Rapids won its second-round game a little easier, beating McCollum on Thursday night 64-36.
