Bohs boss Reynolds reacts as fans change their tune, hails united dressing room
Alan Reynolds has paid tribute to Bohemians' united dressing room as the Gypsies' remarkable turnaround in fortunes continues. Bohs claimed their sixth win in seven games thanks to Dayle Rooney's penalty on Friday night against Shelbourne. That run of results came off the back of some dreadful early results, when Bohs lost five of their first eight games. Rennie hailed some of his more experienced players for helping knit the dressing room together at a time when fans were calling for his head. 'Look, you're bound to enjoy it a little bit more (when the team is winning),' he said, 'a lot more than when you're struggling. The Friday nights, the result then was the one that would throw you off and you'd be hurting. But every day you come in… 'And the time you judge a team and their character is when you're struggling. These boys just keep working every day. And we haven't changed what we do. 'I've been involved with groups that haven't been winning and there's been splinters in the group and the dressing has been broken. 'That dressing room, in fairness, have boys like Keith Buckley and John Mountney in there who drive standards every day.' Two points off the top, their sensational recent run has even led to fans changing their tune on the Dalymount Park chief. But he reckons they could come up with a 'better' chant than the one they sang as he headed for the dressing room on Friday night, after the win against Shelbourne. They chanted: 'Oh Alan Reynolds, you used to be a w****r but you're alright now.' Rennie said: 'I heard some song about me there, all right. Surely you can get a better song than that. It's better than 'Rennie out', I suppose. 'I couldn't even salute that. I think everyone could hear that.'

Level-pegging lasted 15 minutes, though, as sloppy defending gifted Waterford the chance to regain the lead. Defender Seán Grehan stretched to get a touch on White's cross with the ball rebounding off the chest of goalie Kacper Chorazka.
