Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have awkward PDA moment in front of parents at Miami Open

They give love a bad name. Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown didn't hold back from smooching while sandwiched between his parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, at the Miami Open on Thursday. The 'Stranger Things' actress and her husband leaned in for a kiss and pawed at each other as the rock star and his wife awkwardly watched. Bongiovi, 22, was seen puckering his lips and staring adoringly at Brown, 21, as she wrapped her hands around his arms. The couple were all over each other despite being seated next to Bongiovi's mom and dad. The 'Livin' on a Prayer' artist, 63, was seen looking away from his flirty child and daughter-in-law while Hurley, 62, appeared to be grimacing over the spectacle. The foursome were seated in a VIP box while watching the women's semifinals at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. The 'Enola Holmes' star looked preppy in a red-and-white striped sundress with a white sweater draped over her shoulders. She accessorized with red flowers in her hair and oval cat-eye sunglasses. Her model beau opted for a much more casual ensemble consisting of a black T-shirt and sleek black shades. Meanwhile, his musician dad went with a gray tee, aviator sunglasses and a light pink trucker hat. Hurley wore a cool Western-style white button-down long-sleeve shirt with lace detailing around the collar and a sun hat. At one point, Bon Jovi and Hurley moved seats to be next to each other and looked like they, too, were sharing a flirtatious moment. Brown and Bongiovi are no strangers to showing PDA in front of his parents. Last June, the lovebirds memorably got handsy while stepping out with Bon Jovi and Hurley during their honeymoon in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Brown and Bongiovi secretly tied the knot in an intimate ceremony that was a 'low-key, romantic affair' in front of close friends and family in May 2024. They then held a second, more lavish wedding reception at the Villa Cetinale in Tuscany, Italy, four months later. 'Forever and always, your wife,' Brown captioned a slideshow of images from the gorgeous Italian féte. Brown and Bongiovi were first romantically linked in June 2021 and got engaged after two years of dating in May 2023.

All About Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi's Relationship (Including Why He Proposed to Her with a Fake Ring!)

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi love married life. The Stranger Things actress and the son of music icon Jon Bon Jovi first sparked romance rumors in June 2021, when Bongiovi — also an actor — posted a photo of the two on Instagram, writing, "bff <3." They wouldn't stay in the friend zone for long, though, as Brown and Bongiovi went Instagram official that November. The pair quietly got married in May 2024, before exchanging vows again that October. During a February 2025 conversation with Vanity Fair, Brown opened up about feeling confident going into her marriage with Bongiovi, describing them as "pretty united." Related: Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi's Relationship Timeline "We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we're looking for, the kind of careers we want," she said. "It's such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one." "I knew I was. It always felt right with him," Brown continued, later adding that "he is the first man [she has] ever loved and been in love with." From their unique engagement to the details of their wedding days, here's everything to know about Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi's relationship. The actors first sparked romance rumors in June 2021 when Bongiovi posted a friendly photo of the pair on Instagram. That same month, Brown and Bongiovi were spotted walking hand-in-hand around New York City together. The two kept their romance quiet for months until they hard-launched their relationship on Instagram in November 2021, when the Damsel star shared a photo of her beau kissing her on the cheek in London. In March 2022, Brown and Bongiovi made their red carpet debut at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards in London, and have attended many events together since, including the premieres of Stranger Things season 4, Enola Holmes 2 and most recently, The Electric State. During a November 2022 interview with WIRED, the actress opened up about the early days of her relationship with Bongiovi. "We met on Instagram," she said. "And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?" Now, the pair frequently express their love for each another on the social media platform. After New Year's Day in 2023, Brown shared a carousel of photos on Instagram reflecting back on 2022, writing that she was "endlessly in love" with the year she had and shouting out her partner for his part in it. "Grateful for my friends, family, donkey (bernard), my doggies, my puppies teeth, and my partner for life," she captioned the post. "Here's to another year with you and the wonderful people and animals around us 🤍 let's do it again but better!" Bongiovi replied in the comments, "Your year babe love you so much ❤️." That November, Bongiovi shared a sweet Instagram message of his own to congratulate his then-fiancée on being named one of Glamour's Global Woman of the Year. "There was not a dry eye in the house mine definitely weren't," he wrote. "Congratulations sweetheart you deserve it ❤️." Brown and Bongiovi got engaged in April 2023. The actress announced the news by posting a photo on Instagram captioned with lyrics from Taylor Swift's "Lover," writing, "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍." In August 2023, Brown shared with The Sunday Times that Bongiovi proposed with one of her mother's own rings. 'I've always loved that ring, it's always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake. They were in cahoots about the whole proposal," she said. "I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.' So, where did he pop the big question? Under water. During a February 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Brown revealed that Bongiovi proposed while the two were scuba diving on vacation. "We go under, and we're many meters down. He gives me a shell and I turn it over and it's a ring," she said, describing her response as an "okay" hand symbol before they "freaked out." "Anyways, he puts the ring on my hand, and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets like, so fast, it was like a cinematic movie,' she continued. 'Jake threw himself, like so deep ... he does a cinematic grab, opens and he saved the ring." As it turns out, though, Brown's mother wouldn't let Bongiovi take her ring underwater because she knew he would "drop it." So, he used a different ring during the proposal and then presented the real thing when they returned to shore. "It was very magical," Brown said. After a few years of dating, Brown and Bongiovi secretly tied the knot in May 2024. According to The Sun, Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea, along with Brown's parents were in attendance, but it was a "very low-key, romantic affair." Related: All About Millie Bobby Brown's Parents, Robert and Kelly Brown That October, the pair hosted a dreamy Italian wedding at Villa Cetinale, where they exchanged vows for a second time surrounded by friends and family — including her fictional on-screen one! Matthew Modine, who played Brown's father, a.k.a. "Papa," in Stranger Things, officiated the special day. The actor told Vanity Fair that he was "surprised" at how emotional he became during the vows. 'I'd been witness to so much of Millie's private life and her professional career — and I'd seen her grow from that adorable child into a beautiful and thoughtful adult," he said. "I was with her when she first met young Jake. And now she's beginning a whole new life with such a kind man." During her conversation with The Sunday Times, Brown admitted that she knew Bongiovi was "the one" early on. "I ran to my mum and said, 'I really, really like him!' After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other's side," she said. "You can't pinpoint why, it's just the feeling of knowing that that's the person you want to spend the rest of your time with." With her wedding year behind her, Brown is already looking forward to the future — including starting a family. During a March 2025 appearance on the Smartless podcast, Brown shared that although she is "really young," starting a family is "definitely in [her] future." "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake," Brown said. "Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me." She added, "Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me personally." The actress also expressed that she wants a "big family," and that they are both open to the idea of adopting. Read the original article on People

Millie Bobbie Brown and Jon Bon Jovi's son followed parents' lead by marrying young, planning for lots of kids

Millie Bobby Brown knew once she and Jake Bongiovi were on the same page with politics and how they would raise children that she would marry him. On the most recent "Call Her Daddy" podcast episode, Brown told host Alex Cooper about her marriage with Jon Bon Jovi's son. She and Bongiovi tied the knot last year. "We've been together for four years. When we moved in together, we had dogs together, and we were taking care of our animals, and we started living this day-to-day life, I thought, 'Oh, I really don't think I could ever see you as anything else. I don't want to be with anyone else ever again. I don't want to date, I don't want to meet anyone, I want you," Brown said during the podcast. "When we started talking about politics and how we want to raise our kids, we started talking about really, really big things that I've never spoken about, and I'm already very young, so I've never spoken about that with boys anyway. But to be able to even think about those things, I was like, 'S---. Maybe I do want to be with him forever.' I didn't know if he felt that way. We talked about marriage, but I didn't really know when it was going to be. When he proposed, it made sense. Everything aligned." After announcing their engagement in April 2023, Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot in May 2024. Brown was 20 at the time and Bongiovi was 22, which sparked a lot of controversy. "But to be able to even think about those things, I was like, 'S--t. Maybe I do want to be with him forever.'" The "Stranger Things" star told Cooper that her parents married young, as did Bongiovi's parents, so it wasn't out of the ordinary for them. "We had really great role models growing up, so we didn't see anything different. We didn't get jaded by all the other stuff," she said. During her "Call Her Daddy" podcast appearance, Brown recalled her big day and her attempt to not be a "bridezilla," despite wanting everything to be perfect. "I didn't stress, I'm just a planner. I wasn't yelling at people, I'm not 'bridezilla,' but I knew every second of that schedule," she said. Since Brown was very conscious of everyone else's schedules for her wedding, she ended up throwing herself off prior to walking down the aisle. "So I had a really big wedding party, and I knew that right before I would go, 'Okay, you guys go.' And I knew the second that the song would go right, so I'd go, 'You guys go, you guys go.' Like, I was ready because they were walking down the aisle. And I had forgotten to put my veil on. I'd forgotten all," Brown said. "So by the time that everybody went 'Oh, s---.' And my dad went 'Millie, it's your turn.' And I was like, 'It's my time.' And I put my veil on. I was, like, 'Oh, my God, now I've gotta cue myself.'" Once Brown got through the ceremony, she was able to let her guard down and enjoy the night. "I will say, as much as I did control every factor of it. I remember everything about the ceremony, the vows. I remember the feeling, not caring," she said. Once she and Bongiovi were on their honeymoon, he informed Brown that she was going to have a "comedown" after all the wedding festivities. Brown told Cooper that she did have a comedown because her wedding felt like "lightning in a bottle." Now over a year into their marriage, Bongiovi and Brown live on a farm in Georgia with 25 barn animals and 10 dogs that stay inside their home and 23 that stay in an outdoor rescue building. Brown told Cooper that her husband finally had to have a conversation with her and told her "no more" to all of her farm animals. Brown's venture to Georgia began while filming "Stranger Things" in Atlanta. Her parents were adamant about "sheltering" her from Los Angeles and insisted she find a permanent residence in the Peach State. The actress ended up purchasing her farm across the street from her parents' home. Brown has discussed being accused of buying a farm to jump onto the trend of being a "trad wife" influencer, which is a shortened version of a "traditional wife." Trad wives are a subculture of women who believe in clear gender roles and show other women their homemaker lifestyles on social media, which often involves living on a homestead and making food from scratch. During the podcast appearance, Brown told Cooper that it's understandable why people would view her as a "trad wife," but she doesn't completely agree with their take. "I get it, like I understand why they would say that. I have chickens, I get the eggs, I know what it looks like from afar. I did get married young. It's all really veering in that direction, except I love my job, I love being untraditional and unconventional in so many ways of my life. I just love being on a farm and Jake does, too, so that would then make him a 'trad husband'? I don't know," Brown said. The actress explained that she cooks dinner for her husband "every night," but refuses to go grocery shopping — that is a task for Bongiovi. During a recent appearance on the "Smartless" podcast, Brown revealed that it's been a "thing" for her to have children young because of when her parents had their first child. "My mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19. This has been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me," said Brown. "Jake knows how important it is to me. Of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family for me personally." Brown had been ready to start a family with Bongiovi prior to tying the knot, but he had his own requirements for their future. "Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married," she said. "So that was his thing. And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I'm one of four. He's one of four. So, it is definitely in our future."
