Ponce City Market Adds Three New Asian Stalls to Complete Market East
Located on the first floor of food hall Ponce City Market, the Market East wing will debut three new dining options to join pho spot Vietvana and Korean eatery Umbrella Bar. The upcoming stalls come from Dinh Tran and Khanh Dang, the founders of Vietvana.
On Thursday, June 5, Boom Boom Bao, Lime Tiger, and Uwu Asian Dessert Co. will offer Ponce City market patrons more Asian-inspired choices.
Boom Boom Bao, open for breakfast and lunch, will serve Vietnamese bao and Thai dishes, such as vermicelli noodle salad. Lime Tiger, open for lunch and dinner, will offer Southeast Asian bento boxes with choices such as chicken curry, Thai basil chicken, Penang beef curry, and grilled beef wrapped in betel leaf. Uwu Asian Dessert Co. will provide Japanese desserts and milk teas in a kawaii (cute) space.
Ponce City Market and Vietvana will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on June 5, and the public can stop by for free samples and dragon dancers from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
