30th Annual Spring Home Show kicks off this week at the Peoria Civic Center
PEORIA, Ill (WMBD) — Spring will be here, and if the thought of those home fix up projects makes you groan, the 2025 Spring Home Show has been eliminating the groan for 29 years.
Scott Bosecker, the head of the Home Builders Association of Greater Peoria, told WMBD This Morning, he's excited to be a part of the show's 30th year.
The show runs from Feb. 28 to March 2 at the Peoria Civic Center. Adults are $7, seniors are $3 and children under 18 are free.
Bosecker said there will be something for everyone including the kids.
'There's actually a family village set up, and they'll have train rides and activities for the kids to do, and it'll be a fun time for the kids this year,' he said.
Bosecker said that for every one else, 'there'll be everything you need for the house all the way from the foundation, all the way through the roof.'
He also talked of the special appearances sprinkled through the weekend such as a storm chaser, a professional organizer, and a plaster repair expert.
