Brendan said: 'We'll keep making Mrs Brown and if the BBC don't want them, we'll stop.
'That's the way it should be. At some point, another show is going to come along and it's their turn. That's how the business works.

'But right now, it's our turn and Mrs Brown seems to be going on unstoppable. That's the audience making that decision.'

The new mini-series will be the first for Brendan's son
Danny said: 'Everybody knew me as Buster Brady from Mrs Brown before but now they call me Danny and want a picture. It seems to make people really happy.'
He said: 'That was the perfect moment as I really needed him because last week was a particularly down week for me.

"I was really stressed out and had a lot of personal things going on.
"So seeing my dad was so amazing because when you have my dad around, you know everything is going to be okay.'
