Fayetteville Fire Department earns international recognition
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fayetteville Fire Department has achieved Accredited Agency status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI), joining 123 accredited agencies in the United States.
This accreditation was granted after the department successfully met the CFAI's criteria through a voluntary self-assessment and accreditation program.
The Fayetteville Fire Department is now the fifth agency in Arkansas to reach this status and one of over 300 agencies worldwide to earn International Accreditation from the CFAI and the Center for Public Safety Excellence, according to a news release from the City of Fayetteville.
