Winner of Channel 4's The Piano Brad Kella coming to Glasgow

Liverpudlian pianist Brad Kella will start his tour at Oran Mor on September 16. The announcement comes ahead of the release of his debut album, Phoebe's Melody, which is due to be released on June 6. Tickets for the tour go on presale on May 7 at 10am, and general sale on May 9 at 10am from Ticketmaster. (Image: Supplied) Fans who pre-order the album from Brad's website will receive a presale link to purchase tickets ahead of the general sale. His career took off after being named the winner of Channel 4's The Piano by superstar pianists Lang Lang and Mika. He has since signed with the independent record label Modern Sky, appeared at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall, and performed his own sell-out show at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall. Naming legendary film composers Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer, as well as neo-classical piano star Ludovico Einaudi as his major influences, Brad said: "The album is something I'm so proud of. "It's sounding much bigger and better than I could have anticipated. "Each piece is a reflection of a moment in my life, a step-by-step musical illustration." Brad has his own unconventional approach that sets him apart. He said: "If I read music, that means I'm sat in front of someone else's music, which immediately takes away huge amounts of creativity in the process. "It puts me under immense pressure when I have to go on for a concert in front of thousands with no music in front of me. "I think the pressure of it sparks amazing moments during the performance. Sometimes I'll change a certain melody on the spot, and no one is expecting it." He is currently supporting Gary Barlow on a UK tour which is set to stop at the SEC Armadillo on May 26 and 27.

🤖 AI vs Humans: Predicting the results of Premier League Matchday 31

Let us know your predictions in the comments! Last week, we pitted our special guest - Only The Poets frontman Tommy Longhurst - against an AI to see who could most accurately predict the results of Premier League matchday 30. Tommy correctly called six correct results over the course of the matchday, but was out of luck when it came to correct score predictions. Meanwhile, the AI correctly predicted Arsenal's 2-1 win over Fulham and Newcastle's 2-1 win over Brentford, plus two correct results. That leaves the scores (three points for a correct score and one point for a correct result) at 206-180 in the AI's favour after 30 rounds of games this season. Let's see if this week's special guest, Liverpool fan and virtuoso pianist Brad Kella, can get the human race caught up. Watch the video to find out what Brad and the AI went for in the three biggest matches of the weekend; Everton v Arsenal, Fulham v Liverpool and Manchester United v Manchester City. 'Journey's End' by Brad Kella is out now. His debut album 'Phoebe's Melody' is set for release on June 6th through Modern Sky UK.
