Mouni Roy recently grabbed the audience's attention as she represented India and Indian cinema at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025. After wrapping up the mega event, the diva is now back to her normal routine and is enjoying being 'a housewife' as she indulges in house cleaning and cooking delicious food for herself and her husband, Suraj Nambiar.
Mouni took to Instagram and dropped a boomerang video of the food she prepared at her residence — seemingly noodles and a bowl of salad. Sharing the clip on her stories, she captioned the post, 'Meal for 2. Love cooking/cleaning and being a housewife after so long."
Mouni and Suraj tied the knot after dating for three years. They first met in Dubai in 2019 and got married in January 2022 in a dreamy wedding in Goa. The wedding blended Malayali and Bengali traditions, with a Malayali ceremony in the morning and a Bengali ceremony in the evening. The wedding was attended by family members and close friends such as Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi and Aashka Goradia.
Recently, the Brahmastraa actress lit up the red carpet with her glamorous appearance at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. She graced the French Riviera in a stunning Caroline Couture ensemble that radiated elegance and confidence. She wore a midnight black and blue off-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit. The highlight of her look for the day was her diamond necklace from the prestigious brand, Chopard Jewellery.

On the work front, Mouni was recently seen in the horror action comedy, The Bhootnii, along with Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari and Sunny Singh. Directed by Sidhant Sachdev, the film was released on May 1 and didn't perform well at the box office.
She will be next seen in the comedy entertainer, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, along with Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur. Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani under his banner Tips Official, the film is expected to hit the big screens later this year. But an official confirmation regarding its related date is still awaited.
