Georgetown man allegedly believed he was meeting teen girl, faced police instead
LANCASTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Georgetown man faces charges after planning to meet with a teen girl who ended up being a decoy in a sting operation over the weekend.
Lancaster police arrested Brandon Hensley, 37, just before 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the Lancaster Dollar General. According to court documents, Hensley believed he was there to meet a 14-year-old girl.

An arrest citation alleged that Hensley knowingly pursued contact with someone he believed was a teen girl. Eventually, the conversation turned to sexual references, including him, the decoy, and another 14-year-old the decoy was friends with.
Investigators noted that Hensley allegedly said he'd bring the two girls marijuana to smoke beforehand and planned to meet the teen in the Dollar General parking lot in Lancaster.
But when Hensley arrived, he was instead met by Lancaster police.

He reportedly disclosed to officers he was there to 'meet a minor for sexual acts,' per court documents.
Henlsey was lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond for second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (solicitation), procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means, and possession of marijuana charges.
