Two teenage boys, 16 and 17, killed in motorbike crash
Two teenage boys have been killed in a crash between a motorbike and a car near a primary school in Salford.
Emergency services were called to Lower Broughton Road on Thursday evening.
Two boys, aged 16 and 17, who were riding the same motorbike crashed into a Vauxhall Viva as they turned on Clarence Street.
They were taken to hospital but sadly died.
The driver of the ca, a 24-year-old woman, remained at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
Greater Manchester Police said: 'Two teenagers have died after a collision in Salford.
'Our specialist collision investigators are appealing for information about the incident that occurred on Lower Broughton Road at 8.20pm last night.
'It is believed the male teenagers were riding on the same motorbike when it was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Viva as they attempted to turn into Clarence Street.
'Emergency services attended but sadly a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were later pronounced dead in hospital.
'The families of both victims are being supported by specialist officers as our investigation into the incident continues.'
