Police investigate suspicious death of Brandon man
BRANDON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Vermont State Police said Monday that they had begun an active criminal investigation.
Brian Bailey, 46, of Brandon, was found unconscious and unresponsive at his home on Champearl Road shortly after 7:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24. Shortly afterwards, he was confirmed dead by emergency responders.
Based on evidence at the scene and an examination of his body by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office, police said that his death 'appears to be suspicious'. However, they said there does not appear to be any future danger to the public.
