Cruisin' Connecticut: Family fun on the water with Branford River Paddlesports
BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — On this week's 'Cruisin' Connecticut,' we're showing you a fun activity that you and the family can do as the weather warms up!
News 8's Natasha Lubczenko stopped by Branford River Paddlesports to see how they are inviting people to explore our state's beautiful shoreline.

'We've been here 10 years,' owner Marie Martin said. 'We offer just kayaking, paddle boarding, we do Thimble Island tours on the weekends.'
Martin is an avid kayaker and paddleboarder herself and wanted people in the area to share that passion with her.
She said anyone can enjoy what she has to offer- from experts to newbies.
'I get a lot of first-time families too,' she said. 'You know, it's nice that our kayaks can carry two adults and a small child. So you know, they're able to get them on the water as well.'
And there's a lot to explore: from Stony Creek Brewery right up the way to peaceful beaches.
Customers can rent by the hour or for a day.
