Opening date set for 2nd Wawa in Greater Cincinnati
Ohio's second Wawa opens this month in a Cincinnati suburb.
Wawa's new store at 3501 Tylersville Road in Fairfield opens June 26, according to a company press release. The Fairfield location is the second of eight to 10 Wawas slated to open in Greater Cincinnati this year.
The first Wawa in Ohio opened in Liberty Township in April.
'With each new store, we bring our unique combination of fresh food and beverage, convenience and service to local communities, and we extend our commitment to being a good neighbor through community partnerships," Wawa President Brian Schaller said in the release.
The Pennsylvania-based company will also provide free food and drinks at the Breakthrough T1D Walk at Kings Island on June 7, which raises money for diabetes research and treatment.
Wawa proposed two other store locations in Fairfield. The company withdrew its request to rezone an area for a fourth store after residents pushed back.
