The Trump administration is moving to cut remaining federal contracts with Harvard as well as redirecting $3 billion in grants to US trade schools. 'Donald Trump is attacking Harvard because one, there's no reason for us to be giving universities that much money,' Mr Buchanan told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. 'And two, that is no longer the base of the Republican Party. 'Donald Trump has always been a leader in figuring out where the Republican Party's headed and drives them there.'

According to a new Rasmussen poll, 50 per cent of Americans believe the country is on the right track. 'In the last 30 days there's been a bit more stability into how much change is coming.'
