Which younger Boston Celtics will have a bigger role with the team next season?

Which younger Boston Celtics will have a bigger role with the team next season? With the Celtics looking at being without star forward Jayson Tatum for much if not all of the season to come with an Achilles tendon tear currently healing up, there will be extra minutes available for Boston to fill. And that does not even take into account that big men Al Horford and Luke Kornet are free agents who might not return to the team. There are several younger players on the roster who might see their playing time go up given all that is going on with the Celtics for their coming campaign. Could we see more of Baylor Scheierman, Neemias Queta, Jordan Walsh, JD Davison, or Payton Pritchard, to name a few? Can the Boston Celtics keep their Game 3 win momentum vs. the New York Knicks in Game 4?

Can the Boston Celtics keep their Game 3 win momentum vs. the New York Knicks in Game 4? Can the Boston Celtics continue the momentum of their Game 3 win vs. the New York Knicks in Game 4 of their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series on Monday (May 12) night? The Celtics will take the floor at Madison Square Garden hoping to win their second contest of the East Semis after dropping a pair of tilts at their own home court of TD Garden despite being up by 20 points in both Games 1 and 2. Will the Celtics lean into the style of play that won them a title last season and 61 games in the 2024-25 regular season? Or will they let a lesser ball club dictate the terms of engagement again to fall into a 1-3 series deficit? The hosts of the CLNS Media "Still Poddable" podcast, Brian Robb, Sam Packard, and Jay King, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below! Do the New York Knicks stand a chance against the Boston Celtics?

Do the New York Knicks stand a chance against the Boston Celtics? Do the New York Knicks stand a chance against the Boston Celtics in their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series set to start on Monday (May 4) at TD Garden? In the 2024-25 NBA regular season, the Knicks lost every game they played to the Celtics (and only one of those four contests was truly even close, ending in an extra period Boston win). What would have to happen for the Knicks to give the Celtics a real run for their money in this East Semis series? Is there a path to a Knicks upset barring an injury to a key Boston star? Or will the Celtics advance to face the winner of the Cleveland Cavaliers series with the Indiana Pacers concurrently unfolding in the East playoffs? The hosts of the CLNS Media "Still Poddable" podcast, Brian Robb, Sam Packard, and Jay King, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk over how or if such an outcome could be in the cards. Are the Boston Celtics peaking at the perfect time?

Are the Boston Celtics peaking at the perfect time in the NBA's 2024-25 regular season schedule? Fans of the Celtics got a little worried (and quite understandably so) with Boston's midseason slump that afflicted the ball club from around Thanksgiving to the start of the new calendar year, with the Celtics looking tired, bored, unfocused, and out of sorts against a number of inferior opponents. But as the Celtics headed into the thick of the stretch run -- a notoriously dull part of the season for most teams around the league and especially for a defending champ -- the aforementioned issues evaporated while Boston bulldozed opponents good, bad, and everywhere in-between. Advertisement The hosts of the CLNS Media "Still Poddable" podcast, Brian Robb, Sam Packard, and Jay King, debated the topic on a recent episode of their show. Check it out below!
