Bay Arts Alliance celebrates 5th annual Flluxe Arts Festival
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The streets of downtown Panama City have been transformed into an art gallery for the weekend. Over 30 different chalk artists from across the country participated in this year's FLLUXE Arts Festival. The festivities kicked off Friday night and continue into Saturday with live music, performances, and a flaming low party to finish things off Saturday evening. Panama City hosts vibrant art festival featuring 30+ artists Many of the artists were back out, restoring the art that had succumbed to the rain. Still, hundreds of people came out to support the artists and their work. Artist Brianna Bennett was born and raised in Panama City. She says it's an honor to participate in Flluxe. 'I love events like this because we get to express ourselves in a different way through chalk, and it's just amazing. There are so many talented people here, and you get to explore different types of mediums and different things that people are into. It is really cool. I love it,' Bennett said. The festival will wrap up at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
