Body of 24-year-old Lexington woman found on I-64 in Shelby County
SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — The body of a 24-year-old Lexington woman was found on I-64 on Friday night.
Shelby County Coroner Jeff Ivers said dispatch received several calls just after 9:40 p.m. on Friday, May 9, reporting a body lying in the road near mile marker 26.4 on I-64 eastbound.

According to Ivers, the deceased was identified as 24-year-old Brianna Perry of Lexington. Her remains have been taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
Her death is under investigation by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
