Forbidden Fruit festival: All you need to know including lineup and stage times

The capital's longest-running city centre festival is back with a bang for its 13th year, taking over the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham on Saturday and Sunday. Music fans are in for a treat as some of the most exciting international and homegrown artists are gearing up for their gigs – including headliners Caribou, Jamie xx, Peggy Gou, and Underworld. But who else is playing and what else should you know before you get your groove on at Forbidden Fruit this weekend? Keep reading to find out more. Lineup and stage times While this year's headliners are sure to fill the floor during their sets, there are also plenty of other acts across five stages that are worth checking out across the weekend. Mall Grab, Effy, and Bunt are among the dance acts, but there's also a wide range of Irish talent to see for yourself, including Jazzy, Bricknasty, Spray, Khakikid, and Cliffords. Hitting up the main stage on Saturday are Jamie xx, Caribou, Glass Beams, Bricknasty, and Trinity Orchestra – Trinity College's student-run symphony ensemble. And on Sunday, festivalgoers can catch headliners Underworld and Peggy Gou at the same location after the stage gets warmed up by Fcukers, Khakikid, and Zaska. A new addition this weekend is the Lighthouse x Smirnoff Stage, which features a 360° DJ booth and visually stunning Perfect Sky Canopy. The Lighthouse x Smirnoff Stage will be the first to get the party started too, setting the tone from 2pm on both days before wrapping up at 10pm. Here are the stage times for Forbidden Fruit 2025: How to get there (and entry times) Festival gates open at 2pm on both days, with last entry admission at 9pm. Pedestrian access to the venue is via East Gate (Military Road) and West Gate (James St). Travel info here. There is no parking at the festival, but the nearest public car park is Park Rite Parking Lot at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7. Traffic Restrictions will be in place on Military Road and Kilmainham Lane. The venue can be accessed by Dublin Bus routes, the Luas, and trains arriving at Heuston Station, which is just a five-minute walk away. E-scooters and e-bikes are not permitted at Forbidden Fruit but there are public bike racks available on the Royal Hospital grounds to securely lock them away. Important information Add your ticket to your phone's wallet to keep it handy. Beware of ticket scammers and never purchase tickets from an unofficial source. This is a cashless event, so organisers recommend bringing a card or phone for payments. Don't forget to take valid ID with you. No large bags allowed – only A4 size or smaller (no bags means faster entry). Travel-size sunscreen and hand sanitiser (100ml) are allowed. Day tickets are scanned once per day – so re-entry is off the cards. Weekend tickets are scanned once upon arrival each day of the festival. Once you're in for the day, you're in! Forbidden Fruit After-Parties After things wrap up on the grounds of Kilmainham shortly before 11pm, the party continues with the official Forbidden Fruit After-Parties taking place in a variety of city centre hotspots. Wigwam, Centre Point, Fidelity, and the Grand Social are among the venues keeping the energy up until 3am.
