Thousands of hopefuls have been narrowed down to a dozen as the eagerly anticipated line-up for the 2025 Britain's Got Talent finals is now confirmed.
This year, anticipation has heightened as fans were kept on tenterhooks waiting to discover which acts progressed to the final, due to a shake-up in scheduling. In contrast to past seasons where semi-finals unfolded over one week, ITV's hit talent show has transitioned to presenting semi-finals every Saturday night.
But that's not the sole alteration this year presents; for the first time, an act was propelled directly into the semi finals through the Golden Buzzer.

The format bestowed the power upon one judge each week to catapult a single act straight to the finals, with public votes determining the second chosen act. The final golden glow radiated for magician Harry Moulding, who secured his spot after being honoured with KSI's Golden Buzzer during the latest episode.
Harry captivated viewers with a spellbinding trick that saw him accurately predict names of random audience members after eliciting seat numbers from judges Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden, culminating in a heart-stopping moment when an audience member named Jess saw her boyfriend join Harry on stage for a marriage proposal - a plan set in motion by Harry halting the would-be groom days earlier in Paris to enquire about his ultimate nuptial dream, reports the Mirror.

Additionally, nine-year-old gymnastic prodigy Binita Chetry stole hearts and earned the public's vote, securing her place as the final contender in next Saturday's finale.
Moved by her dynamic display, Simon Cowell remarked: "This is what I call a moment where a star is born."
During an interview with Ant and Dec, Binita expressed her joy, stating she felt "very happy" and was eager to participate in next week's final.
The complete lineup of 12 acts for the final has now been announced. In addition to Binita and Harry, the final will feature: The Blackouts, an LED dance group; singers Vinnie McKee and Stacey Leadbeatter; and guitarist Olly Pearson.
Other acts joining them in the final include Jasmine Rice, an opera singer and drag queen; Ping Pong Pang, a dance act; comedian Joseph Charm; and Hear Our Voice, a Post Office choir.

But not everyone was happy with the news with many taking to X to vent their frustrations. One said: "Once again those voting on #BGT are ridiculous!!!" Another said: "#BGT needs to change its name to #BHT. Britain HAD talent."#BGT
And: "God #BGT has gone down the skids so boring these acts." A fourth added: "Well there's about 4 worth watching in the final. Probably get through it in 30 mins."
But others clearly loved the show with one singling out Harry saying: "That magician Harry absolutely blew my mind."
The final is scheduled to air next Saturday, May 31, on ITV1 from 7 pm to 9:45 pm. The winner will be announced live and will receive a substantial cash prize of £250,000.
Furthermore, the winner will be offered the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Show. The prize money has varied annually; the first five winners, dating back to 2007, received £100,000.
