The real reason Stone Cold Steve Austin rejected Logan Paul's bizarre £1million WrestleMania offer
The wrestling legend was bemused by the Youtube sensation's logic when wanting to make a splash on the biggest stage
Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed he was irritated by Logan Paul's mega money offer to dress the WWE legend up at WrestleMania 41.
The Texas Rattlesnake made a glorious entrance at the Las Vegas showstopper on night two, where John Cena broke the record for the most world championships of all time.
But Austin 3:16 did not enter the ring as a fighter, but to acknowledge his Hall of Fame induction for his match with Bret Hart for their match at WrestleMania 13 - the first match to be inducted.
However, according to superstar YouTuber turned WWE wrestler Logan Paul, he had very different ideas for beer-swigging Stone Cold.
Speaking in a recent episode of an Impaulsive podcast, Paul revealed that Austin declined his offer of $1 million to appear in a Prime bottle mascot costume.
Prime is Logan Paul's energy drinks brand where he has also teamed up with the likes of KSI to make the product a global beverage powerhouse.
Austin responded on The Ariel Helwani Show and was visibly surprised Paul disclosed the details in public.
Austin stated: 'If he said that, I'm not going to call him a liar. I just thought it was personal business.'
Explaining his rejection, Austin added: 'Since it's out there — yeah, I turned it down.
'I'm in the beer business. I don't know anything about his product, its ingredients, whether it's good or bad. It just wasn't my thing.'
Back in 2015, Austin partnered with El Segundo Brewing and launched Broken Skull IPA, then in 2022 he collaborated with the brewery to release Broken Skull American Lager.
Speaking about Logan Paul's Prime brand, Austin admitted to local media sources that the brand had done well and said of Paul: 'He's doing great, he's hustling, and I respect that.'
Yet Austin also reiterated how the brand was not for him: 'It's not my gimmick' he implored and added: 'It just wasn't the right fit for Steve Austin.'
The energy drink variant of Prime was the subject of an FDA investigation in 2023 after safety concerns were raised about its contents.
The brand contains 200mg of caffeine per can – equal to the caffeine content of about two cans of Red Bull or six cans of Coke.
