Casey had been scheduled to join a star-studded match line-up for the third annual event at Bromley F.C. today. He explained he injured himself while playing padel — a fast-growing racquet sport similar to tennis. 'So today I've unfortunately had to pull out of the Tom Parker charity match,' Casey said. 'I've gone over on my ankle playing padel funnily enough, but it's for a great charity and a great foundation. So I will put the link here. Best of luck everyone and go donate. Sorry for having to pull out.' Despite being sidelined, Casey urged his followers to support the cause and continue donating, highlighting the importance of the event and its mission. Tom's widow Kesley Parker looked radiant as she cradled her growing baby bump during her annual charity football match in memory of her late husband, Tom Parker. Held at Bromley F.C. stadium in Kent today, the event marked the third Tom Parker Celebrity Football Match and once again raised funds for brain tumour research - a cause that has become deeply personal for Kelsey and her family. Kelsey, boyfriend Will, and her children Aurelia and Bodhi all wore matching white t-shirts emblazoned with heart-shaped 'Love Tom' logos, honouring the beloved The Wanted singer, who passed away in 2022 from an inoperable brain tumour. In an emotional interview with The Standard, Kelsey said: "Me being with Will and having a child with Will would never take away the love that we have for Tom and the love that even Will has for Tom, because Will ultimately loves Tom's kids." She added: "It's about us as a family and Will's a massive part of their life now." "Just raising that awareness will go such a long way." This year's star-studded match featured appearances from celebrity players including Ryan and Scott Thomas, former Towie star Dan Osborne, Love Island alumni Finley Tapp and Ronnie Vint, as well as Coronation Street's Alex Bain and EastEnders actor Jaden Ladega. The family-friendly event also included food stalls, raffles, and live performances. Kelsey continues to be a tireless advocate for brain tumour awareness, saying: "Even talking about it now, people have no clue that brain tumours are the biggest killer for under 40s and children, and we only get one per cent of national funding. That's it." She added: "Tom left me this legacy to carry on. He did so much in his 18 months of getting sick that now it's my time to say, you know what? I'll continue shining a light on it for him. "It's a big responsibility but I'm doing it all for him. "Because what we went through as a family - you wouldn't wish that on your worst enemy. So now it's all about just helping other people."

Kelsey Parker admits 'it's so important' as she keeps Tom's memory alive
Tom Parker's widowed wife Kelsey Parker has revealed her appreciation at those setting up a charity event in his honour as she reveals how important it is to keep his memory alive Widowed Kelsey Parker is determined to keep the memory of her late husband alive, three years after his death. The Wanted star Tom Parker sadly died on March 30, 2022 at the age of 33. He had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour a year earlier. Kelsey and Tom shared two children together, Aurelia and Bodhi. She is currently pregnant with baby number three with new partner, Will Lindsay. But she is making sure Tom's legacy continues. Since his death, an annual charity football match has been set up in the singer's honour. It has grown into a heartfelt legacy event, a celebration of Tom's life and a vital fundraiser for brain tumour awareness and support, with proceeds going to Ahead of the Game, the charity that supported Tom and his family throughout his battle with the illness. Ahead of this year's event, Kelsey shared her gratitude to those involved. She said: "To raise awareness for brain tumours and vital funds for Ahead of The Game is so important to me and all my family. "We're so happy to be able to do this again for the third year running. The support has once again been fantastic. A huge thank you to Grove Gallery for returning as our official sponsor and to Bromley F.C. for hosting us once more, it really is a brilliant community and family day out, so please do come down and support us." As the event continues to grow, celebrities take to the pitch at Bromley F.C.'s Hayes Lane Stadium. Previous participants include Ryan and Scott Thomas, Harry Judd of McFly and Jake Quickenden. Love Island's Luca Bish has also been involved, as have Strictly professionals Neil Jones and Kai Widdrington. This year's star-studded line-up is set to go even bigger. The likes of the Thomas brothers have signed up once again, with Dan Osborne and Made In Chelsea's Jack Taylor also set for a run out. Soap stars such as Jaden Ladega of EastEnders and Corrie's Alex Bain are also signed up, while boxer Derek Chisora is set to be manager of Team Parker. A number of other reality TV stars, including Love Island's Ronnie Vint have also been confirmed as taking part. Others to be remembering Tom were his former bandmate Max George. On the anniversary of Tom's death, Max shared an emotional tribute to his close pal as he battles his own health issues. Max recently underwent emergency heart surgery after he was rushed to hospital over Christmas. Taking to Instagram to pay tribute to Tom, Max shared a black-and-white image of the pair smiling, He captioned the upload: "3 years... Love you all the same mate," alongside a red love heart emoji. His words came after Kelsey had shared a similar post that also marked Mother's Day, Kelsey, 34, honoured Tom's life. She shared several photos from their many years together.
