Good Morning Britain fans have A LOT of complaints about Chesney Hawkes and Donna Preston's 'children's hour' interview - and even resort to 'hitting mute'

Good Morning Britain fans shared a lot of complaints about Chesney Hawkes and Donna Preston's 'children's hour' interview during the latest broadcast. The comedian, 38, and The One And Only hitmaker, 53, featured on Thursday's programme hosted by Ed Balls and Susanna Reid. Donna and Chesney discussed their time in the iconic Celebrity Big Brother House. During their lively appearance, Donna sang a song she wrote while on the ITV reality show and they talked about their strong bond. 'The experience accelerates the bonding doesn't it, because you've got nothing else to do, you've got no phone, no TV, nothing. So all you've got to do really is get to know each other,' Chesney commented. 'We sang a lot,' Donna added. 'That passed the time, we made up a lot of songs.' During their lively appearance, Donna sang a song she wrote while on the ITV reality show and they talked about their strong bond However, some viewers were not impressed by the interview as the pair broke into song, and took to social media to share their thoughts. Many posted on X: 'Welcome to children's hour #gmb.' 'Mute #gmb.' 'Is it possible for #ChesneyHawkes to appear on tv without THAT song playing or the hosts saying THOSE words? #GMB.' 'OH THAT F**** SONG! #GMB.' 'Celebrity I got paid to go on a TV show and I made friends for life segment.' While others jumped to their defence and said: 'There will no doubt be people moaning about this Ches and Donna interview but we need some light in the dark. #GMB is not a full on 100 per cent news show!' It comes after Chesney's wife Krissy shared her side of the story after the singer claimed they had visited a 'sex club' together where she whipped him. During his time in the Big Brother house, Chesney admitted he was first whipped by a 'muscly guy in a thong', before claiming that his wife also had a turn. However, some viewers were not impressed by the interview and took to social media to share their thoughts However, keen to dismiss any speculation that the married couple regularly visit sex clubs together, Krissy has now weighed in on the situation. Speaking to new! magazine, she said: 'Okay let's clear that up... it wasn't a sex club per se. It was a bar in Los Angeles with a little area upstairs... 'We popped up there for a second and thought "why not?" 'It was a one-off spontaneous moment - not something we've got booked in the calendar regularly! For us, it's all about fun and spontaneity.' Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
