Jasonville man arrested after armed domestic incident
HYMERA, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A 31-year-old Jasonville man was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday due to a domestic dispute.
According to a Facebook post from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Bryce Emory was arrested just before 2 a.m. after deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute. The victim claimed that she was battered by Emory and that a gun was placed in her mouth during the incident. The post states that the victim fled from the home and ran two miles before finding shelter from a citizen who let the victim in their home and contacted 911.
Emory was arrested and taken in without incident. Emory is now residing in Sullivan County Jail. Emory is being charged with domestic battery with a deadly weapon, confinement, and possession of paraphernalia. Sullivan County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Sullivan City Police Department, Greene County Sheriff's Office, Jasonville Police Department, and Linton Police Department.
