A massive new luxury hotel is coming to the Dubai World Islands

A new Dhs3 billion hotel has just been announced and it's coming to the Dubai World Islands. Only accessible by boat (very luxe indeed), the Buddha-Bar Hotel and Buddha-Bar Beach will be built at The Heart of Europe. Plans for the luxury resort include a dreamy beach club, new lounges and restaurants which are set to take two years to build. Launched by the Kleindienst Group, you can expect some very impressive features, with the full plans set to be unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market 2025. The hotel and floating villas will have 162 rooms and suites, as well as a luxury spa to pamper yourself on the island retreat. Meanwhile, the Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island will be built nearby and will include everything you'd be hoping for on your post-wedding getaway. Offering everything from late-night beach parties to sunrise yoga and dinner on the beach, the resort will have a Mediterranean feel, according to developers, the Kleindienst Group. Josef Kleindienst, founder and chairman of Kleindienst Group, said that it's another major milestone for The Heart of Europe. He said: 'Our collaboration with George V Eatertainment redefines what a destination can offer. 'Together, we are creating not just places to stay or dine, but a fully immersive world, where the journey is as extraordinary as the destination. We are pioneers of sustainable, experiential living, driven by innovation. 'It's another milestone in our mission to transform The Heart of Europe into a living, breathing showcase of what's possible when visionary design and meaningful experiences converge.' Creating a series of five-star resorts on the manmade islands, in February 2024 The InterContinental Resort Portofino was announced to be under construction. Expected to open early in 2026 on the beachfront, the hotel will have 466 rooms and suites and include authentic Italian food and floor-to-ceiling aquariums on all six floors.
