CMF Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus Prakhar Khanna Alongside the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing's sub-brand has also launched three new earbuds today. The CMF Buds 2a, Buds 2, and Buds 2 Plus join the already-available Buds Pro 2 in the affordable earbuds series, all priced under $100. The new trio goes big on battery life and features, offering colorful options and differentiated mainly by their sound drivers. At the entry level, the CMF Buds 2a bring sport a 12.4mm bio-fibre driver tuned with Dirac to deliver dynamic sound. They offer 42dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 for an immersive listening experience. Although they skip spatial audio, the Buds 2a boast up to 8 hours of playback (ANC off) and a total of 35.5 hours with the case. A quick 10-minute charge provides 5.5 hours of use. They'll be made available in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange. The Buds 2a also offer IP54 dust and water resistance. CMF Buds 2 and CMF Buds 2 Plus Prakhar Khanna Stepping up, the CMF Buds 2 feature an 11mm PMI driver with Dirac Opteo tuning. They offer better ANC rated for 48dB sound levels, and spatial audio for a more immersive listening experience. Battery life is even better, offering up to 13.5 hours on a single charge and up to 55 hours with the case. The Buds 2 will sell in Dark Grey, Light Green, and Orange color options. The CMF Buds 2 Plus are another step-up with a 12mm LCP driver supporting Hi-Res audio via LDAC are rated to deliver 50dB ANC and borrow the Smart Adaptive Mode from more expensive Buds Pro 2. The Buds 2 Plus promise 14 hours of playback (ANC off) and up to 61.5 hours with the case, which is the highest in CMF's lineup. The Buds 2 Plus are available in Blue and Light Grey color variants. Both Buds 2 and Buds 2 Plus come equipped with Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and Wind Noise Reduction 3.0 for a clear call quality. Meanwhile, the Buds Pro 2, CMF's high-end option launched earlier, continue to offer 11mm + 6mm coaxial dual drivers, Hi-Res LDAC support, 50dB ANC, up to 43 hours of battery life with case and more. Across the board, all models support low-latency gaming modes (ranging from 105ms to 120ms with Nothing OS), IP55 dust and water resistance (except Buds 2a with IP54), and fast charging.
