Woman nabbed for online sexual exploitation of children, including daughter
A 38-year-old woman was arrested in Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte last Wednesday for allegedly selling lewd photos and videos of three children, including her own daughter.
The woman was arrested by authorities in her residence on Wednesday afternoon, where authorities said they found a "showroom" where she would make the children—her 13-year-old daughter and the daughters, aged 13 and eight, or her live-in partner—dance and perform "live shows" for customers, mostly located overseas.
Authorities said they found materials saved in her gadgets, for which she would charge customers thousands for access.
'Sa kaniyang residence mismo ay may ginawa siya na showroom kung saan niya ine-entertain 'yung mga foreign nationals na mga customers niya at doon niya ipinapasayaw or ipinapakita itong mga tatlong minor victims na na-rescue natin,' a representative of the Buenavista Municipal Police Station said in a report by Bea Pinlac on GMA's '24 Oras Weekend' on Sunday.
(She made a showroom in her residence where she would entertain her foreign customers by showing the three minors, whom we have rescued, and have them dance.)
The woman is now in the custody of the Buenavista Municipal Police, and is set to face charges of child abuse, human trafficking, and online sexual abuse and exploitation of minors. She has claimed innocence.
The police said they are also investigating the woman's live-in partner, and looking deeper if he is also connected to the scheme. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA Integrated News
