BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A vacant structure on Buffalo's West Side is set to be demolished on an emergency basis, according to Buffalo Fire Commissioner William Renaldo. The building, at 461 Rhode Island St., was in danger of 'imminent collapse' on Sunday night, officials said, and neighboring buildings had been evacuated. The building was undergoing structural renovations recently, the owner told officials. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Officials responded to a grass fire west of Swiftbird Friday afternoon. Named the Buffalo Fire, the accidental ignition caused by a wheel bearing going out consumed roughly 1000 acres north of Highway 212. South Dakota's ag, cultural ties to China Agencies from Agar, Hoven, Timber Lake, Eagle Butte, Trail City, BIA and area task forces responded.
