A gambler made a big bet on a slot machine in Las Vegas and ended up winning a big prize. The lucky visitor sat at a Dragon Link slot machine at Palms Casino Resort, the casino said in a May 20 post on X, formerly known as Twitter. The visitor bet $125, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared. 'Tamed the beast. Took the $24,375 treasure,' the casino said in the post. Palms Casino Resort is just west of the Las Vegas Strip. A Las Vegas gambler got lucky at a slot machine recently, winning two jackpots on the same game, McClatchy News reported. The player sat at a Buffalo Link game at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino, bet $30 and won $5,285.96. Then they bet $30 again on the same game and won the $12,145.77 jackpot.

A gambler scored a big jackpot after betting $10 on a slot machine in Florida. Now, the player is $122,200.18 richer. The visitor sat at a Buffalo Link slot machine at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, the casino said in a March 30 Facebook post. The player made a bet, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared. 'Congratulations to this lucky winner who multiplied their bet by roughly 12,000!' the casino said in the post. 'What's the first thing you're doing with a win this big?' the casino wrote. Another gambler recently won a life-changing prize at the same casino. The woman bet $500 on a Dragon Link slot machine and won just over $1.5 million, McClatchy News reported March 5.

Gambler hits slot machine jackpot with 88-cent bet at Florida casino. ‘Holy cow!'
A gambler got lucky at a slot machine in southwestern Florida with just an 88-cent bet. The visitor sat at a Dancing Drums slot machine at the Seminole Casino Hotel in Immokalee, the casino said in a Jan. 29 Facebook post. The player bet 88 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared. The casino said the gambler won $18,661.45. 'Wow on an $0.88 bet….i can't wait for mine….congratulations,' one person commented on Facebook. 'Wow .. congrats. Wish that would happen to me!!' another person wrote. 'Holy cow! That's the best one yet,' someone else said. A couple of other gamblers have also won big prizes at the casino. One player went to a Tree of Wealth slot machine, bet $52.80 and won $212,640.60 on Jan. 16, McClatchy News reported. That same day, a second gambler sat at a Buffalo Link slot machine and won $165,800. Immokalee is an unincorporated community in Collier County. It's about a 35-mile drive southeast from Fort Myers.
