ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A woman was killed in a car crash on Monday, June 2 in St. Tammany Parish. According to the Louisiana State Police, 20-year-old Madison Boone of Mandeville was traveling westbound on Highway 36 in a 2004 Buick LeSabre while a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound. The Hyundai reportedly crossed the centerline and struck the Buick head-on. Boone, who was unrestrained, suffered serious injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to a local hospital as well. They were issued a citation for driving on the right side of the road. GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — Police say a driver was under the influence when he plowed his car into a Garden City home just after 11 p.m. Thursday. As bad as the damage looks, there were no serious injuries because no one was in the house at the time. The crash happened in the 2000 block of Antler Ridge Drive. Police say a 34-year-old man was driving a Buick LeSabre eastbound on Fair Street at a high rate of speed and lost control. The car crashed into the house and hit a parked vehicle inside the garage before coming to a stop. The driver had minor injuries and refused treatment. The crash happened in the 1800 block of Snelling Avenue at 10:52 p.m. on Wednesday. The vehicle is believed to be a gray, silver or tan Buick LeSabre from the late 1990s or early 2000s, and may have damage to the front passenger side, police said. State police asking for help finding 91-year-old man missing from Indiana County

Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help finding a 91-year-old man missing from Indiana County. Carl Shirley was last seen in the area of 100 White Station Road in Conemaugh Township on Wednesday around 10 a.m. He was wearing a tan zip-up jacket, flannel shirt, khaki pants and black shoes. Shirley is described as 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He drives a gray 2011 Buick LeSabre with Pennsylvania license plate HTJ5454. Police believe he may be at special risk of harm or injury, or may be confused.
