Murder trial against Bunnak Landon continues day into fourth day
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Thursday, May 1 marked the fourth day in the murder trial against Bunnak Landon but third day of testimonies.
The case accuses Landon in the death of 6-year-old Bella Fontenelle, the daughter of Landon's then boyfriend.
On day one of testimony, 'disturbing' details were released disclosing that Bella told several adults, including her father Michael Fontenelle, that Landon was 'mean.'

It was noted that educators documented daily crying spells, anxiety and distress at the thought of having to go home with her father.
On day two, Bella's grandmother gave what was described as an emotional and hysterical testimony as she described the moment Bella's body was found inside the bucket left on her mother's front lawn.
Sergeant Jordan Bloomer who was on scene that day, had difficulty speaking while on the stand telling the court the moment he opened the bucket.

On day three, in an overnight testimony, a Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputy took the stand showing jurors surveillance footage from the night of the murder.
In a detailed timeline, the deputy said Landon's movements reportedly included calls, texts and her search history showing repeated searches for Attorney Walter Becker.
