Man charged with murder after police find body with stab wounds in the neck at a home in Croydon Park
A man has been charged with murder after a body was found inside a home in Sydney's inner-west.
Emergency services were called to a home on Kembla Street in Croydon Park, about 10km southwest of the Sydney CBD, just after 5pm on Monday following reports of an alleged stabbing.
The body of who police believe is a 29-year-old man, was found inside the home with stab wounds to his neck.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Burwood Police Station before being transferred to hospital.
After being released from hospital, he was taken back to the station where he was charged with murder by police.
Strike Force Buchanan has been investigating the incident, and are calling for assistance as they look to track down a man they believe can help them.
"Detectives are hoping to speak with a man who may be able to assist with investigations," NSW Police said in a statement.
"The man was last seen on Kembla Street, Croydon Park, yesterday afternoon.
"He is described as being of Asian appearance, with a solid build and was last seen wearing black jumper with red symbols on the back, blue jeans, black shoes, a black hat and carrying a black satchel."
