Fulton County school bus involved in crash
McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A school bus in Fulton County was involved in a crash Friday morning, school officials said. Central Fulton School District Superintendent Christina Ramsey said in a letter to parents the incident occurred Friday morning when a bus was 'making a routine left-hand turn when a car at a nearby stop sign unexpectedly pulled forward and made contact with the side of the bus.' 'The bus remained drivable and all students arrived at school on time,' Ramsey said. No injuries were reported, Ramsey said, and all students were checked out by district nursing staff. 'The safety of our students is always our top priority and we are grateful to our bus driver and staff for their quick and professional response,' she added. The bus was identified as 'Bus 10' though the school it was carrying students from was not identified. BART service halted between Bay Fair and Union City
(KRON) — BART commuters are advised to seek alternative forms of transportation Wednesday morning between Bay Fair and Union City stations, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District announced. Service is stopped as of 6:49 a.m. between the stations due to an equipment problem on the track. 'BART service has stopped between Bay Fair and Union City on the Berryessa Line in the Berryessa, Richmond, and Daly City directions due to an equipment problem on the track between Hayward and South Hayward,' transit officials said. Cooler Wednesday ahead of weekend rain Riders who are seeking to get to San Francisco or Oakland are advised by the agency to go to Bay Fair station. Bus bridge service is being provided by AC Transit, which is honoring BART fares. According to officials, Bus 10 runs between Bayfair and Hayward and Bus 99 runs between Hayward and Union City.
