Funeral of East Kilbride teenager Kayden Moy to be held this week
Kayden Moy passed away after being found seriously injured at Irvine Beach on May 17.
The 16-year-old's former football team, Busby Athletic Football Club (AFC), paid tribute to a 'talented young man' as they shared his funeral details.
The funeral will take place at Linn Crematorium in Glasgow's Southside at 10am on Friday, June 20.
Kayden's family, friends, and members of the Busby AFC community are invited to attend.
From there, the youngsters' loved ones will then go on to Philipshill Cemetery in East Kilbride.

A statement published to Busby AFC's Facebook page reads: 'It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the tragic passing of our former youth player, Kayden Moy, on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
'Kayden was a bright and talented young individual who left a positive impression on those around him during his time at the club.
'His passing is felt deeply by everyone connected to our community. All family, friends, and members of our club community are respectfully invited to attend and celebrate Kayden's life.
'We extend our heartfelt condolences to Kayden's family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.'

We previously reported that three teenagers have been arrested in connection with Kayden's death.
Police Scotland confirmed two 17-year-old boys had been arrested and charged in connection, and a 14-year-old boy had also been arrested as part of their ongoing investigation.
It came after officers were called to Irvine Beach in Ayrshire at around 6.45pm on Saturday, May 17, following reports that a 16-year-old boy had been found seriously injured.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and Kayden was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock, where he died a short time later.
